    Choose 1 or 2 days of bright, bold, POPPIN’ creativity!

    Our Spring Break Pop Art Camp is all about color, fun, and big ideas.

    Day 1: Sweet treats take center stage! Campers will create playful Pop Art inspired by desserts and sugary favorites using a variety of exciting materials.

    Day 2: It’s all about portraits with personality—bold colors, expressive styles, and tons of creative freedom.

    Campers will explore multiple mediums to design fun, vibrant artworks while learning new techniques and styles along the way.

    Please bring a nut-free lunch each day.

    Ages: 6-8 and 9-12

    Color Explosion Summer Art Camp is a vibrant, hands-on art experience where creativity takes center stage! Designed for young artists ages 6–8 and 9–12, this camp dives into the magic of the color wheel through playful exploration, experimentation, and lots of messy fun.

    Campers will learn the basics of color theory while creating bold, eye-catching artwork using a wide variety of materials and techniques. From swirling paint to splashing watercolors, each day brings a new way to explore color and self-expression.

    Projects may include:

    Tie-Dye creations

    Animals Big & Small Summer Art Camp invites young artists to explore the wonderful world of animals—from beloved household pets to majestic safari creatures! Designed for curious and creative kids, this camp combines creativity with learning about animals and their habitats through hands-on projects and imaginative exploration.

    Campers will be experimenting with a variety of materials while developing observation skills and creative confidence. Each project encourages kids to look closely at animal features, patterns, and environments while expressing their own artistic style.

    Projects may include:

    Animal sculptures

    Pop Art portraits—draw your pet or favorite animal

    Collage and mixed media creations

    Printmaking inspired by animal patterns and textures

    Perfect for animal lovers of all kinds, Animals Big & Small blends creativity, learning, and fun in a supportive environment where every artist can let their imagination run wild.

    Optional Add-on: Extend your camper’s day with Musical Afternoons at Music Time!

    After enjoying their sack lunch at the SHAC, campers will be walked to the Music Time studio, located at 400 N. Main Street (right across the street). During these musical afternoons, campers will sing songs, explore rhythm patterns, play djembe drums, move their bodies to the music, and play musical games. Along the way, campers will build a sense of community, practice listening and cooperation, and learn how to work in a group. All activities are designed to connect with the camp’s weekly theme and are led by Ms. Mandy. Pick-up will be at the Music Time studio at 2:00 PM.

    Ages: 7-12

    Art Adventures Summer Camp is designed for older kids who are ready to take their creativity to the next level. This skill-focused camp explores a wide range of art elements and mediums, giving young artists the chance to build confidence, technique, and personal style through hands-on exploration.

    Campers will focus on strengthening foundational art skills—working with line, shape, color, and texture—while experimenting with both traditional and mixed media materials. Projects are thoughtfully structured to challenge growing artists while still leaving plenty of room for creativity and self-expression.

    Drawing and shading techniques

    Painting with watercolor and acrylics

    Will your dinosaurs be walking, flying, or climbing into the city? 🏙️🦖
    At this creative day camp, artists will use printmaking, painting, and drawing to design and assemble a mixed-media dinosaur city—a finished artwork that’s take-home ready to display!

    Campers will explore eco-friendly and environmental art projects, learning how art and nature connect while spending time outdoors each day (weather permitting). Through hands-on activities, kids will develop observation skills, experiment with natural textures and colors, and create meaningful artwork they can take home—or leave behind to help nature thrive.

    DIY Glam Workshop (Ages 7–13)
    Get ready for a morning of creativity, color, and sparkle! In this one-day DIY Glam Workshop, campers will explore hands-on crafting while making their very own glam accessories and beauty goodies. Each participant will create one of each project to take home, including a custom sugar scrub, nail polish, lip gloss, polymer clay jewelry, and a fun backpack clip. This camp is perfect for kids who love crafting, self-expression, and a little extra glam—no experience needed, just imagination!

    Create through sensory play! Join us for a fun hands-on morning mixing science and art to explore sensory textures and learn how slime is made. Each child will create 2 cups of take home slime (beach sand slime and under the sea slime). Plus they'll dive in to ocean themed art by learning abour waves and design swirling tide prints with paint and shaving cream. Perfect for curious kids who love to explore and get a little messy.
