Nature’s Palette invites young artists to slow down, look closely, and discover the beauty of the natural world through art. This immersive camp blends observation, creativity, and environmental awareness, encouraging campers to use nature as both inspiration and material.
Campers will explore eco-friendly and environmental art projects, learning how art and nature connect while spending time outdoors each day (weather permitting). Through hands-on activities, kids will develop observation skills, experiment with natural textures and colors, and create meaningful artwork they can take home—or leave behind to help nature thrive.
Projects may include:
Painted flowerpots with planted seeds
Leaf and flower prints
Handmade paper flowers
Nature-inspired color scavenger hunts
Painted rocks
Junk or bullet journaling
DIY bird feeders
Seed bombs for pollinators

Creativity meets curiosity at Art + Science Summer Art Camp, where young artists become experimenters! This STEAM-focused camp blends art and science through hands-on, process-based projects that encourage exploration, problem-solving, and playful discovery.
Campers will investigate how materials move, mix, react, and transform—learning that art isn’t just about the final product, but the exciting process along the way. Expect plenty of experimentation, sensory fun, and “wow” moments as kids explore cause and effect through creative play.
Projects may include:
Marble painting experiments
Salt and watercolor reactions
Bubble print art
Slime creations
Cardboard architecture builds
Geometric collage designs

Parents! Want to enjoy Milford Memories kid-free this year?
Drop your kids off at our Milford Memories Art Camp for 3 hours of hands-on creative fun!

While they paint, create, and explore art… YOU get uninterrupted time to shop or volunteer at the festival. Spots are limited! Lunch included - provided by Novella’s Pizzeria.
This camp requires a minimum of 8 students to run. If we don't meet the minimum, you will be refunded. Otherwise, this camp is non-refundable.

DIY Glam Workshop (Ages 7–13)
Get ready for a morning of creativity, color, and sparkle! In this one-day DIY Glam Workshop, campers will explore hands-on crafting while making their very own glam accessories and beauty goodies. Each participant will create one of each project to take home, including a custom sugar scrub, nail polish, lip gloss, polymer clay jewelry, and a fun backpack clip. This camp is perfect for kids who love crafting, self-expression, and a little extra glam—no experience needed, just imagination! -

August 11th | 10:00am-12:00pm
Create through sensory play! Join us for a fun hands-on morning mixing science and art to explore sensory textures and learn how slime is made. Each child will create 2 cups of take home slime (beach sand slime and under the sea slime). Plus they'll dive in to ocean themed art by learning abour waves and design swirling tide prints with paint and shaving cream. Perfect for curious kids who love to explore and get a little messy.

August 12th | 10 AM - 1 PM (Drop-In)
Drop in between 10am-1pm for a FREE creative open art workshop where kids of all ages can explore different mediums, spread positivity, and make art that inspires change. Open creation stations and a chance to design new window art for the SHAC as well as posters for the Huron Valley Community Coalition. Ages 13 & under need to be accompanied by an adult.
