    Explore needle felting as a painting medium in this creative and meditative class. Instead of brushes and paint, you’ll use colorful wool fibers and felting needles to “paint” an image by layering, blending, and texturing wool onto a felt fabric background. Class is suitable for beginners and experienced crafters alike, and each student will complete a finished wool painting to take home. All materials are provided—just bring your imagination. Feel free to bring your favorite beverage to sip.

    Come get creative with us!

    In this class you can choose from making a tea light holder, a cute little gnome for your windowsill or garden or a tray for trinkets, jewelry or whatever your heart and imagination desire! If class time allows, you can add more items the night of class.

    During your first class we will use stoneware clay to create the item(s) of your choice. Using stamps, rollers or other items to create textures or patterns on the clay.

    The second class will be focused on adding color to your piece to bring it to life. There will be underglazes and stone or glazes available and samples so you can see what your selection will look like on the clay that you are using.

    *Tea light holders have an option for the openings from a heart or the state of Michigan and measure approximately four and a half inches tall and a perfect for tea lights or fairy lights.

    * Gnomes can be anywhere from 4 1/2 to 6 in tall and can be used with cone incense or fairy lights.

    * Trays have two template shapes available, or you can freeform. The approximate size is 7x5"

    Join us for this adorable "Chick on a Stick" fused glass class where we will show you the magic of creating with fused glass to make your very own bird stake to decorate your plants indoors or out. Stake included. Your base piece will already be cut to size for you and there will be a great assortment of colors to choose from. You will use glue in class to create, and all projects will be kiln fired and delivered back to the studio in 10-12 days. Feel free to bring your favorite beverage to sip. This class is open to ages 10 - adult (if under 16, will need to register for an accompanying adult as well).

    Join us for a fun creative crafting experience, we will be designing and assembling a beautiful unique large suncatcher. We will be using UV resin, pressed flowers and foil to design a large charm or two small charms then choose from a variety of other charms and prism crystals to decorate your suncatcher. Hook to hang your suncatcher included. You’ll need your glasses for this class (small detail work). Charm styles may vary.

    Create your own metal stamped initial charm necklace or quote bracelet with a make & take station. Drop in between 5:45pm & 8:15pm to make your creation. It only takes about 15-25min to complete. Silver and gold charm, necklaces and silver bracelets available to choose from. Stamp your own charm and assemble your necklace or stamp a word or quote the bracelet bar and form your bracelet using the provided tools. Grab a friend and enjoy some relaxing crafting.

    Create your own pressed flower and resin necklace and earrings. Lots of different flowers and greenery to choose from, as well as a variety of gold or silver shapes and styles. All ages welcome, ages 12 and under will need adult assistance. Includes all supplies needed to make and assemble a necklace AND pair of hypoallergenic earrings.

In this dynamic class, you’ll explore expressive techniques using watercolor, inks, and acrylics to build layered, eye-catching compositions.     A beginner cookie decorating experience and an evening of fun, laughter & new skills! Kristel’s Cookie Creations will guide you through each step of the process in decorating custom cookies. This class is perfect for all skill levels (ages 12+). By the end of the session, you will have learned basic piping and flooding techniques and will go home with a box of beautifully decorated cookies.

    Create a stunning and symbolic Tree of Life using a mix of hot glue, crushed glass, and resin! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll design your own one-of-a-kind tree, choosing to create it on a 9"x12" Wood Panel or on an 8"x10" Frame design. You’ll begin by shaping your tree with hot glue, forming flowing branches and roots that represent strength, growth, and connection. Then, bring your tree to life with shimmering crushed glass and embellishments before sealing your artwork in glossy resin for a durable, professional finish.

    Projects must stay at the art center to set overnight, so plan to pick them up after 24 hours.
