By typing your name below, you (“Vendor”) agree to the following terms for selling merchandise at the Holiday Market in accordance with the conditions established by the Village Fine Arts Association/Suzanne Haskew Arts Center ("VFAA"):
Application & Approval: Submission does not guarantee acceptance. Vendors will be notified by email upon approval. If accepted, then the vendor agrees to help advertise their presence at the event and the event in general via social media.
Fees: Events put on by the VFAA/SHAC help support our nonprofit mission. Our events are meant to help promote local and small businesses, as well as the nonprofit as a whole. The Holiday Market has a table fee of $75 due upon acceptance to the event. Fees are non-refundable.
Setup/Teardown: Vendors are responsible for their own setup and takedown during designated times that will be distributed after acceptance. This event will be inside and heated. Vendors are responsible for bringing their own equipment, but tables and chairs will be provided. This event will take place following Downtown Milford's Holiday Parade, which draws a large crowd. This event will be held in The Warehouse at River's Edge Brewing Co. The Holiday Market has happened here for 4 years, and has become a popular event during the holiday season.
Sales & Taxes: Vendors manage their own sales and are responsible for collecting and reporting any applicable sales tax.
Conduct: All vendors must maintain professional behavior and respectful interactions with attendees, staff, and other vendors. If an incident occurs, and professional conduct is not followed, then the vendor may be asked to leave and become ineligible for all future VFAA/SHAC events.
Liability: The VFAA is not responsible for any loss, theft, damage, or personal injury during the event. Vendors participate at their own risk. Vendors agree to hold harmless the VFAA, the SHAC, its staff, volunteers, and affiliates from any claims arising from their participation. Vendors are encouraged to carry their own liability insurance as they see fit.
Cancellations & Emergencies: In the event of extreme weather or emergency, The VFAA will communicate any changes as soon as possible. This event will happen no matter the weather as it is indoors.
Compliance: All vendors must comply with relevant laws, safety regulations, and any additional event-specific requirements communicated by the VFAA. Food vendors must obtain and display the necessary permits and licenses if asked. Vendors are only allowed to sell what is described in this application and what is seen in the uploaded pictures.
Failure to comply with any of these terms and conditions may result in ineligibility for future VFAA/SHAC events.
